Pennywick is a private, on-device budgeting app with receipt scanning. Here's help with common questions — if you don't find what you need, reach out directly.

How do I log an expense?
Tap the camera button in the center of the tab bar to scan a receipt, or add a transaction manually from the Ledger tab.
How do I set up a savings goal?
Go to the Goals tab and tap the + button to create a new goal with a target amount, then contribute to it over time.
Is my financial data private?
Yes — everything is stored locally on your device. Pennywick has no user accounts and doesn't sell or share your data. See the Privacy Policy for full details, including the one optional case where receipt text (never the photo) can be sent to Google's Gemini API for categorization, only with your explicit consent.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. There is no separate account or server-side copy to delete.
